Stephanie Mulamata a 26 year old Psychosocial counselor has been appointed as the official representative of the country at the prestigious Top Model of The world competition to be held in Egypt this year from February 27th to March 14th
Mulamata takes over from Precious Ng’oma who placed top 5 at the competition last year.
Mulamata holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and is no stranger to pageants as she has competed in many top pageants across the country including Miss Universe Zambian, Miss Tourism Zambia and Miss Heritage Zambia making her a superb candidate.
Aside from competing in pageants the Model is dedicated to making her surrounding a better place to live in by raising awareness on the rights of the girl child. she currently works in partnership with Meleki foundation providing sanitary wear for vulnerable adolescent girls in schools whilst also teaching menstrual health hygiene. She does this through her Pad -A Girl Campaign.
“I am really excited about this new Title, it’s a great honor to represent the nation on international stage. Little nervous, because this will be my first international competition, so much to expect and also I really have big shoes to fill, because the previous title holder did an amazing job, placing at Top 5 and am expected to do better. I hope to make my country proud” she said an interview with Live Access Zambia.
Zambia is yet to win the Top Model of the world competition will Stephanie bring the glory home ?
